Hidden Gems: Local Businesses & Creatives You Should Know

Introduction

Sometimes photographers prefer more model poses or sometimes they want more lifestyle everyday movements. So I try to take that into consideration when going into a photo shoot.

What motivated you to pursue a career as a model?

How much I enjoyed being creative through modeling.

Where do you see your modeling career in five years?

It would be so cool to have been in a couple magazines and then able to do some really unique concepts.

How do you stay updated with fashion and modeling trends?

I follow other models and photographers on social media.

What kind of brands or projects do you want to work with?

Would love to work with companies who want to do a branding shoot for their business. Renaissance fairies or comic cons also as I love to dress up in costumes.

What do you do to prepare for a modeling job?

Research the company or photographer and get an idea of what their vision is.

How do you adapt your modeling style to meet client expectations?

Sometimes photographers prefer more model poses or sometimes they want more lifestyle everyday movements. So I try to take that into consideration when going into a photo shoot.

Describe a time you had to adapt to a sudden change during a shoot.

Once at a shoot they asked for a second outfit so I put one together on the spot with stuff I had.

Tell me about a time you had to think on your feet.

There has been a few times when I've worked with photographers who are very new and didn't know how to take charge. So I helped them learn how to pose me and give them ideas of different poses and areas we could shoot at.

How do you handle constructive criticism, challenging shoot experiences, rejection, and pressure.

I welcome it because I always want to get better at everything I'm doing. I try to take what they're saying and see how I can improve.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned from your modeling career so far?

That with time it gets more smooth and to go with the flow.

How do you adapt your modeling style to meet client expectations?

Sometimes photographers prefer more model poses or sometimes they want more lifestyle everyday movements. So I try to take that into consideration when going into a photo shoot.
